Agreement

By using AgentLayer ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. "You" refers to the individual or organization accessing the Service. "We," "us," and "our" refer to AgentLayer.

The service

AgentLayer provides GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) audits that analyze publicly available information on websites you submit. The audits check how well a website is optimized for AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

Our audits analyze publicly accessible content only. We do not access password-protected pages, private data, or anything not available to a standard web browser or search engine crawler.

Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account, either directly or via a third-party sign-in provider (such as Google)
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • One account per person or organization. Automated account creation is not permitted
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

Payments and refunds

Pay-per-scan pricing: Lite Scan ($5) and Full Report ($49) are one-time purchases. Payment is authorized before the scan begins and captured only if the scan completes successfully. If a scan fails, you are not charged.

Subscription plans: Monthly plans are billed in advance. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

Refunds: If a scan completes but produces clearly incorrect results due to a bug on our end, contact [email protected] and we will issue a refund or credit.

All prices are in USD. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit URLs you do not own or have authorization to scan
  • Use the Service to harass, spam, or attack other websites
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring algorithms
  • Resell scan results without a Partner or Enterprise subscription
  • Circumvent rate limits or abuse the API
  • Use automated tools to create accounts or submit scans beyond API rate limits

Intellectual property

Our content: The Service, its design, code, scoring methodology, and documentation are owned by AgentLayer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them.

Your data: You retain ownership of the URLs and brand names you submit. Scan results and reports generated from your submissions are yours to use, share, and export.

Shared reports: When you share a report via a share link, anyone with the link can view the Lite (partial) version of that report. You control whether to share.

Accuracy and limitations

GEO audits provide recommendations based on our analysis of publicly available website content at the time of the scan. We do our best to provide accurate, actionable results, but:

  • Audit results are informational, not guarantees. Implementing recommendations does not guarantee improved AI search visibility.
  • AI search algorithms change frequently. What works today may change tomorrow.
  • Scores reflect a snapshot at scan time. Website changes after the scan are not reflected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentLayer's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and performant, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

Termination

By you: You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and data, email [email protected].

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. We will notify you by email and provide the reason, except in cases of abuse or fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
